Core Functions 
• Contributes to the overall success of the SME, Corporate and Commercial & Investment, Wealth and Subsidiaries Credit Underwriting Teams by supporting the maintenance of the quality of the portfolio through ongoing monitoring of covenants (financial and non-financial) as well as other reporting requirements
• Ensure offside conditions as specified by the Bank’s adjudicating, auditing and compliance units are identified, investigated and escalated to the appropriate Bank Officers
• Review outcome of tests and make appropriate recommendations to the Team Lead
• Continually monitor accounts / products to ensure the criteria laid down by the Bank’s adjudicating, auditing and compliance units are met
• Complete financial spreads on a timely basis, incorporating comments / analysis on material changes for the Underwriting Team
• Complete all function-specific documentation accurately as per Bank standards in order to protect both the Bank the customer
• Escalate potential problem loan situations to the Portfolio Analysts Team Lead
• Provide timely and meaningful financial analysis to thereby facilitate the decision making process for risk mitigation
• Develop and maintain a sound knowledge and understanding of Commercial products and services for all market segments
• Respond promptly and effectively to requests and concerns from the Underwriters and Team Leads

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Banking/Finance or Accounting 
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a financial institution to include two (2) years’ experience at the level of at least a credit clerk and/or consumer underwriting.
