Job Summary

 

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing, improving, and implementing appropriate policies, tools, and frameworks for managing all HR processes for all staff of Ecliff Elie Limited (EE or the Company) and providing leadership and direction to all employees on all matters relating to people management. S/He reports to the CEO, and receives support/direction from the Company’s external Organizational Development Advisor

 

Key Responsibilities- Major Tasks and Responsibilities

 

HR Business Partnering

 

  • o Drive implementation of HR policies and processes across the organization.
  • o Manage Employee Life Cycle Calendar (Workforce planning, Recruitment, On-boarding, Performance Management, Talent Management & Succession, Career Management, Learning & Development, Leadership development, Reward & Recognition and Exits).
  • o Evaluation of HR Calendar implementation.
  • o Drive Performance Improvement initiatives (performance consulting) across the organization.
  • o Provide support to Line Managers and executives on implementing HR initiatives.
  • o Provide coaching and support to Line Managers and executives on people management.
  • o Assisting in resolving grievances, disciplinary cases, and appeals.

 

HR Center of Excellence

 

  • o Design the organizational structure in line with business model and strategy.
  • o Design, develop and enhance people policies across all areas of the employee life cycle.
  • o Develop HR solutions, products, tools, and frameworks in line with policies and organizational strategy as they arise.
  • o Manage Organizational Learning activities and programs.
  • o Undertake research to improve HR policies and processes.
  • o Manage change initiatives and sustain a change DNA across the organization.
  • o Drive organizational culture initiatives.
  • o Develop and run the HR Strategy in line with organizational strategy.
  • o Provide support to HR business partners in the deployment of HR initiatives.
  • o Provide high-level insights and advice on critical HR issues to the Company’s Management and Board.
  • o Participating in Thought Leadership programs and contributing content as a Thought Leader within and outside the organization.

 

HR Operations

 

  • o Planning annual HR budget for all HR related activities 
  • o Managing the HR Information Systems for the entire organization.
  • o Managing Payroll with support from the Finance & Treasury Department.
  • o Managing Staff Welfare and Wellbeing initiatives.
  • o Providing Reports on HR activities and cost on a periodic basis and in the prescribed format.
  • o Secretariat to the People EXCO.
  • o Managing HR Data, Metrics and Analytics.
  • o Manage HR Compliance Issues (NIB etc).
  • o Executing board approved placements, appointments, and promotions

 

Others

  • o Handling other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned by the CEO/OD Advisor from time to time.
