Driver

The Driver is required to provide external mail services for the Bank, transport employees and carry out transactions on behalf of the Bank.

DRIVER 

CORPORATE SERVICES DIVISION  

The National Export-Import Bank of Jamaica Limited (EXIM Bank) is seeking to identify qualified candidates to fill the abovementioned vacancy. 

 QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE  

The position requires the following qualifications/experience:  

• CXC Mathematics and English
• High School Certificate
• A valid General Driver’s License
• Five (5) years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Excellent driving record over the past five (5) years (no tickets or accidents)

 KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS  

• Excellent defensive driving skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Good interpersonal skills  
• Good communication skills 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES  

The successful candidate will ensure:  

• Collects and distributes mail externally (Business, Banks and other customers) ensuring that the recipients sign for all mail delivered 
• Ensures that all deliveries are itemized/documented in the delivery book  
• Transports Bank’s personnel as required  
• Keeps all communication equipment (mobile phone) on person at all times and ensures it is in good working condition 
•  Reports issues with motor vehicle and follows-up to ensure vehicles are serviced  
• Removes furniture and equipment as requested  
• Stocks grocery in storeroom   
• Assists with assembling and disassembling equipment used at marketing events
