Profiles Caribbean Inc. is working collaboratively with our client, a leading real estate company, with the goal of selecting a qualified and experience individual to fulfil the role of Appraiser/Valuer.

Job Summary

Responsible for the general administration of the Branch and for formulating, planning, coordinating and implementing strategic initiatives to generate new business and increase revenue streams as well as establish and maintain systems, procedures and controls to enhance business operations and sustain customer loyalty.

Duties and Responsibilities Summary

As an Appraiser/Valuer, you will be required to:

• Assist with the survey and valuation of a wide variety of residential and commercial subjects including estimating the market value of land, buildings, and commercial (real estate) properties.

• Assist in implementing programs of valuation related to computer development.
• Write detailed reports/Preparation of draft valuation reports.
• Provide recommendations to valuation team.
• Keep up to date with the property and valuation market.

Requirements

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent IT, Information management and MS Office suite skills.
• Strong ability to pay attention to detail.
• Valuation of a wide variety of properties.
• Knowledge of building and construction including reading of land and building plans
• Excellent communication skills.
• A BSc or similar level in a related field or equivalent experience.
•  Completion of Valuer’s certificate at BCC or UWI.
•  Experience in the valuation/appraisal space a plus.
• AssocRICS or RICS or similar designation a plus.
