TJAM seeks an experienced professional in General Accounting to fill an immediate vacancy for a Management Accountant at our Spanish Town Road location.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

Preparation of various reconciliations and financial reporting analyses;

Primarily being responsible for the reconciliation of stock, debtors, creditors, warranty claims, cash control, bank balances etc.

Maintains schedules of expenses, income and asset registers; implementation and enforcement of company’s internal controls, policies and procedures.

Actively participates in the development and training of the Finance & Accounts Staff

Enhances TJAM’s reputation and brand image by accepting ownership for accomplishing various new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • At least eight years’ progressively responsible experience in Accounting;
  • Computer literate and dynamic, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communicator, solution oriented and negotiator with an aggressive approach to resolving problems & achieving objectives;
  • Deadline responsive, flexible with change;
  • Team conscious and can demonstrate experience in adding organizational value;
  • Cash management and detailed knowledge of financial and accounting principles;
  • Experience with CDK or similar computerized dealership management system would be an added advantage
  • MSc. In Accounting or Level 3 Cert  - ACCA required (non-negotiable)
