Summary

The selected candidate will be tasked with fostering an environment that maintains high quality products and standard processes. Ensuring that the company complies with its outside regulatory requirements and internal policies. The incumbent will travel to our retail store locations to complete periodic compliance audits.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficient and effective management of all standard and compliance matters across the Tastee retail chain.
  • Monitor compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
  • Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues.
  • Record findings and follow up with management so that issues can be rectified.
  • Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation.
  • Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.
  • Research and recommend new and/or emerging standards/ best practices or process improvements.
  • Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain and analyse logs to identify and report recurring issues.
  • Maintains an effective mechanism for non-conformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Competences, Qualification and Experience

  • Critical problem-solving ability.
  • An ability to analyse and interpret information quickly.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Effective commutations skills (verbal and written).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar field or environment.
  • First degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Admin or related field.
  • Holder of Valid Drivers’ Licence.
  • Owns and operates reliable motor vehicle.
