Business Analyst

The Business Analyst primary responsibility is to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend effective solutions to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability.

The Business Analyst provides up-to-date business intelligence gathering and analytical services of competitive environment, key trends and strategic drivers within the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

•  Development and analysis of financial statements/reports to identify variances and make recommendations to improve the business
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they are clear, complete, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze data to uncover insights and support data-driven decision-making. Develop data models and perform data mapping when necessary.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and validate solutions that address business needs, ensuring they align with the documented requirements.
• Compile and present data in appropriate tabular and graphic forms in accordance with accepted statistical techniques
• Provide expert advice or recommendations based on interpretation of data gathered, inferences drawn and conclusions made.
• Support change management efforts by assisting in the development of training materials and helping stakeholders adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and help identify and mitigate project risks.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles
• Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Studies and/or related discipline.
• A background in auditing or accounting is preferred. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data modeling, and requirements elicitation.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power BI
• Experience and/or knowledge of the private Security industry can be an advantage
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
