The Reconciliation and Administration Officer is responsible for reconciling suspense accounts daily, securely files and maintain bank documents and electronic database. Liaises with internal and external customers to follow up on transactions in order to complete processing.

Job Summary:

The Reconciliation and Administration Officer is responsible for reconciling suspense accounts daily, securely files and maintain bank documents and electronic database. Liaises with internal and external customers to follow up on transactions in order to complete processing. Promotes JMMB’s Vision of Love and its unique culture. Key Responsibilities:

Reconciliations

• Timely daily reconciliation of all General Ledgers and Accounts under the purview of the Settlement and Centralized Processing Team

• Timely daily reconciliation of all Manager’s Cheques and Foreign Draft accounts

• Ensures all difference items are investigated and resolved with SLA.

• Timely escalation of outstanding unresolved items including but not limited to Incident Reporting and Write-Off Request preparation.

• Timely preparation and submission of Monthly Reconciliations for review and onward submission to Finance and other Stakeholders where applicable.

Cheque Book Management

• Preparing and dispatching lodgments and Cheques to Banks and Customers

• Update Bank records with Cheque Book Order details

• Management of Cheque Book order and dispatch process

Administration

• Receives, opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail for Operations Support

• Archive coordinator for Operations Support

• Stationary coordinator for Operations Support

• Perform other duties and projects assigned related to Settlement and Centralized Processing

Qualifications (Education & Certification):

• Minimum of five (5) CXC or GCE level inclusive of Mathematics and English language.

• Accounting credentials are an asset.

Experience:

• At least three (3) years banking experience

Other (Skills):

• Dedication to and ability to deliver excellent customer service.

• Thorough working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Ovation 5.3

• Thorough working knowledge of payment processing suite

• Good understanding of wire transfers conventions and regulations.

• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent at time management - highly organized, accurate, ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines, without supervision
