PURPOSE OF JOB
Reporting to the International Business Growth, Digital, and Brand Experience Team Lead, the Business Growth, Digital & Brand Experience Assistant plays an integral role in fortifying the company’s communication, administrative, and project support necessities to propel the department’s strategic growth and overall market presence. This role is tailored for a proactive graduate who is keen to apply their foundational knowledge in project management to support the planning of activities that support the company and its subsidiaries consistently across regional and international markets.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Contributes towards the development and scoping of brand growth initiatives.
- Tracks progress of projects using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
- Lead the management of departmental digital filling systems.
- Assists in collecting, compiling, and analyzing data relative to the business diversification activities.
- Coordinates and schedules interdepartmental project team meetings, disseminates minutes, and updates department with timely reports.
- Draft, review, and or disseminate essential departmental communications on international business growth activities: memos, meeting agendas, forward actions, corporate letters, contracts, policies, emails, and other strategic documents.
- Provides support in the execution of activities for and in monitoring the execution of project work plans relative to regional and international brand growth and ensures that project activities are correctly and realistically scheduled, monitored, and reported.
- Liaise and coordinate IBGDBE activities with government agencies, other departments, suppliers, advertising agencies, distribution companies, and local/regional strategic partners.
- Assist the International IBGDBE Team Lead with planning activities and processes, including project planning for new business territories, corporate events, prioritization, brand execution initiatives, market research, data collection, and fostering collaboration between the department and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate data collection and research concerning business growth, online engagement, and brand experience metrics.
- Routinely perform a wide variety of administrative support duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
• BSc in Project Management, Business Management, or equivalent course of study
• Knowledge of marketing and brand management will be an asset.
• Minimum of one year working experience in a similar role
• Proficient and computer literate particularly with MS Suite, Canva, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Project Management would be an asset.
