Graphic/Photo Specialist

The Graphic/Photo Specialist will be responsible for the creation of high-quality/engaging content and will design and develop graphics/photos graphics for logos, banners, marketing materials, website, and other publications.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Graphic/Photo Specialist will be responsible for the creation of high-quality/engaging content ranging in many forms of media (graphics, videos, animations, etc.). Working closely with Creative Lead, you will design and develop graphics/photos graphics for logos, banners, marketing materials, website, and other publications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Creative Lead and Manager, Marketing & Ecommerce to brainstorm campaigns, develop designs or create new photo/ graphic imagery for the use of E-Commerce merchandise and other graphics, videos, animations, etc.
• Use various technologies (hardware and software) and style guides to produce graphics/photos.
• Coordinate with the Creative Lead and Manager, Marketing & Ecommerce to design and develop graphics/photos.
• Produce graphics for logos, banners, marketing materials, website and other publications as required.
• Generate images for product uploads for website catalogue in a timely manner.
• Work with the Creative Lead to utilise the correct product features to ensure that the proper usage of product is conveyed in the image, and that the preferred angles and combinations are used for all assigned items.
• Process, colour correct, and perform quality control of all images.
• Photograph products and models in studio or on location.  
• Collaborate with the Creative Lead and Manager, Marketing & Ecommerce to understand design requirements and create graphics accordingly.
• Use computers and graphic/photo software to design, enter data, or process information.
• Stay abreast with latest developments in graphic industry.
• Perform assigned work within the allotted timelines.

 Perform other tasks as directed by the Marketing & E-Commerce Manager or Director. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge/Experience

• Diploma in Graphic Design or Art. 
• Five (5) CXC O’Level passes, including Mathematics and English A.
• Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital photography required, including operating various computer controlled, job specific equipment such as digital SLR cameras, lenses, various photo programs, lighting equipment, use of shared drives, proper computer settings and photo size/quality for optimal showcasing of items, proper use of backdrops, etc.
• Formal training/certification in graphic design, experience in 3-D design and animation.
