JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Supervisor plays a key role in providing excellent customer service and growing revenue for PCU Plus. This position is primarily responsible for leading the PCU Plus sales team, training new hires and developing sales strategies to increase revenue. The Sales Supervisor also supervises and coordinates the schedules of the marketing, sales and logistics teams to meet and exceed revenue quotas while ensuring on-time fulfilment of customer purchases and resolution of customer complaints. The incumbent is also responsible for training and helping existing staff improve their sales and customer service skills. This position reports to the Store Manager and acts as a liaison between management and the team.

KEY TASKS:
(1) Cultivates solid relationships with customers to increase brand loyalty and drive repeat business.
(2) Builds strong relationships with key suppliers to establish long-term business partnerships.
(3) Ensures effective and efficient service delivery by establishing and upholding company policies governing customer relations, sales strategies and ethics.
(4) Tracks sales metrics accurately on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, for both new and current customers, for submission to the store manager and monthly reports.
(5) Analyses sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective and assists sales representatives to meet and exceed revenue targets.
(6) Conducts in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
(7) Ensures all PCU Plus showrooms are adequately stocked and products attractively displayed.
(8) Receives and verifies stock requisitions from branches and ensures timely transfer of requested items.
(9) Assists with the preparation and development of marketing strategies, budgets, performance reports and presentations to increase overall sales.
(10) Assists with the preparation of purchase orders for payment authorization.
(11) Audits inventory sales to make sure the correct data is entered into the system.
(12) Examines the Procurement and Inventory Clerk's system records for new items and reorders.
(13) Ensures that all items are correctly priced, coded and physically presented to facilitate client purchase decisions and boost sales.
(14) Oversees the coordination of in-person and online sales fulfilment to ensure timely delivery of items to customers.
(15) Assists the Store Manager with preparation of the annual budget for submission to the Board of Directors.
(16) Coordinates the daily distribution of cash to tellers and the final balance of sales.
(17) Maintains the brand's reputation by resolving escalated complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and enhanced brand loyalty.
(18) Conducts site visits when requested by the Store Manager.
(19) Supervises employees, including scheduling of work, evaluating performance, executing disciplinary actions and ensuring compliance with PCU Plus policies.
(20) Coordinates customer service and product knowledge training programmes to build and or improve employee performance and aid in customer satisfaction.
(21) Provides assistance with the opening and closing of PCU Plus showrooms.
(22) Performs any other related duty that may be assigned by the Store Manager to ensure effective operations.
