We are currently looking for suitable and qualified candidates for the following leadership position:

HEAD OF PROCUREMENT

The Head of Procurement is responsible for negotiating, acquiring, and documenting all purchases as authorized by the Executive Head of Finance & Purchasing. The Head of Procurement is also responsible for working with the Finance team to create and/or implement new and innovative processes and procedures to best manage the entire purchasing and procurement cycle.

The successful candidate must possess the ability to assist the management team with detailed analysis in purchasing trends in each department to improve resort performance in keeping with established standards.

Experience & Required Skillset:

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry, with applicable International and Caribbean experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems an asset
• Robust knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management
• Applicable degrees and/or professional certifications desirable.
• Valid Driver’s License in order to drive company vehicle(s)
• This role requires the job holder to be able to work flexible hours.
• Solid leadership and training skills

• Full Fluency of the English language, both written and spoken. Fluency in a second language an asset.
