The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for leading the cyber security efforts for the company and its subsidiaries.

PURPOSE OF JOB 

The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for leading the cyber security efforts for the company and its subsidiaries. The incumbent will be responsible for will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving security issues. Additionally, the Cyber Security Engineer will monitor and respond to security incidents, develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and conduct security awareness training for employees. 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards for the company and its subsidiaries; To develop and implement security measures for corporate enterprise network;
  • To plan, conduct and execute both internal and external vulnerability assessments;
  • To develop and implement policies, procedures and work instructions for cybersecurity function;
  • To align cybersecurity infrastructure with industry best practice (eg. ISO 27001/ NIST/ CORBIT);
  • To configure and maintain corporate security tools, to enhance detection and prevention of cyber-attacks;
  • To prepare and deliver security awareness training for all employees of the company;

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILL 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and security technologies;
  • Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software;
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical    stakeholders;
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
