A popular restaurant in Kingston is seeking applications from suitably experienced persons for the position of Server

Position Summary:

The Server (Social Hostess/Sales) is responsible for taking orders and deliver them to our customers, maintaining and enhancing the quality of our customer service. Work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards. The goal is to accelerate our business development by providing customers with a memorable experience.

Duties include:

• Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attending to customers upon entrance
• Presenting restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Taking/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
• Collaborating with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Addressing complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issuing bills and accepting payment
• Promoting dedication from customer service

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes:

• At least 3 CXC passes
• Certificate from HEART in Food Preparation an asset
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Valid food handler’s permit an asset
