Software Tester

he incumbent will be responsible for Conducting user acceptance testing of the core banking systems, reports and any other application that is obtained for the Organization’s use.

JN Bank Limited is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the position of Accountant. The incumbent will be responsible for Conducting user acceptance testing of the core banking systems, reports and any other application that is obtained for the Organization’s use. Examine proposed changes to the configuration of the Organization’s applications to determine the effect of these changes. Investigate cases of serious malfunction caused by configuration changes.

General Duties

System Testing

-Execute the testing process for core banking systems, reports and other applications used by the Organization. The process includes but is not limited to;

(i) developing test plans, cases, and scripts

(ii) execute testing

(iii) identify and report defects and other potential issues

System Application

-Examine proposed changes to the configuration of the Organization’s applications to determine the effect of these changes.

Coaching & Supervision

-Conduct knowledge transfer for tested applications to key stakeholders including User Support Department, Operations, and trainers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

-1-3 Years experience in Software Testing preferably in a Financial Institution.
