FULL TIME - VISUAL ARTS/DIGITAL MEDIA TEACHER

ROLE AND CORE FUNCTIONS

The incumbent is required to teach Visual Arts/Digital Media to form six (6) students in accordance with the approved curriculum. Duties include monitoring the progress of students, effective classroom supervision and guidance to ensure the all-round development of students.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s Degree in respective subject area from an accredited University.
• Diploma in Education will be an asset.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Familiarity with the Visual Arts/Digital Media Syllabus.
• A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the respective form level is essential.
• Sound knowledge of the theory and application of the subject area. 
• Sound knowledge of evaluation and measurement techniques. 
• Sound knowledge of modern methods, principles and techniques of teaching.
• Experience in the use of technology in the classroom is essential. 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Registered to teach by the Ministry of Education
• Assessed as a Visual Arts TIII by The Ministry of Education.
