JOB TITLE : Graphic Artist
REPORTS TO : MARKETING OFFICER
To display a mix of creative design and marketing skills, be self-motivated and highly organized and be able to manage several projects at once. You will also have the opportunity to come forward with new ideas and contribute to the bigger picture.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to:
Ø Create artwork: brochures, adverts, flyers, business cards and other marketing collateral
Ø Work with Advertising Agency to determine layout and to assist where needed to prepare point of sale materials and signage. This includes, taking photos and edit all promotional and informational materials including brochures, flyers, press ads, feature articles for print where necessary
Ø Design and produce highly creative, impactful presentations for new business pitches and client presentations
Ø Create-shot designs for e marketing campaigns, create quarterly internal newsletter as such
Ø Design or adjust artwork and sales document in line with brand guidelines
Ø Effectively manage multiple briefs at a time, prioritizing where necessary and provide updates where relevant
Ø Work with sales and other internal departments to understand their needs
Ø Develop and maintain the company’s websites.
Ø Prepare mock-ups for new packaging
Ø Assist with developing new products and service opportunities as well as special developments.
Ø Implement all marketing activities in conformity with organizational goals and objectives.
Ø Ensure that all necessary documentation being submitted is accurate and done on timely basis.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Demonstrate a working knowledge of:
Ø media placement and graphic design concepts.
Ø principles and practices of marketing.
Ø skill in marketing, presentations and publications.
Ø preparing routine printed promotional materials
Ø preparing routine administrative paperwork.
Ø organization and co-ordinating skills.
Demonstrate competence in using the following:
Ø Adobe CS, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and or Adobe Premiere Pro.
