OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).

JOB SUMMARY:

As the Process Automation Developer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems to improve business operations across all areas of the business. An implementation-focused problem-solver you are seeking to resolve real-world problems using applied sciences, deep-learning and machine-learning algorithms, and engineering concepts. The primary role of the RPA developer is to design, build, and execute software robots or bots to work side by side with teams to increase the business performance of the process. In this role you will investigate, analyze, and develop automation based on the business requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery

  • Analyzing and understanding the business processes.
  • Identifying and communicating the technical software requirements.
  • Designing automated process solutions in accordance with standard design principles and conventions.
  • Configuring new automated processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand.
  • Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
  • Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
  • Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases.
  • Create and establish a connection between information inputs, controllers, and outputs
  • Encourage and support the identification of continuous improvement initiatives through knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Assist with special projects, as needed, and any other duties as may be assigned by your reporting Manager or the Business.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in process automation and/or software development.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgement skills.
  • Comprehensive and practical understanding of Microsoft Technology.
  • The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach with that a mind that seeks out opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience with robotics, AI and machine learning,
  • Proficiency in PyTorch, Python, Java, or OpenAI is a plus
  • Experience working with SaaS products
