Under the supervision of the Store Manager/Team Leader the candidate is responsible for completing all assigned prep work and setting up of cook stations. The candidate is also responsible for product presentation, product quality and cook time standards

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares menu items according to Heroes Sports Bar recipes, portion amounts, plate presentations and specifications.
  • Follow the instructions of the Team Leader and Store Manager
  • Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy
  • Practices care for equipment, tools and store facilities.
  • Follows prescribed procedures in setting up all stations.
  • Daily filtering and cleaning of all fryers.
  • Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
  • Estimates expected food consumption and organizes preparation
  • Keeps records and accounts of food wastage
  • Ensures the Store Manager/Team Leader is immediately informed of all products deemed not suitable for sale.
  • Stays open and operational until the last customer leaves
  • Cleans up after business hours
  • Alters dishes based on consumer suggestions or requirements and Team Leader/Management instructions.
  • Completes all assigned prep work according to law, company procedures, policies and deadlines.
  • Setting up of the cook’s work station.
  • Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
  • Cleans and sanitizes the work area before, during and after shifts.
  • Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
  • The upholding of Heroes Sports Bar standards and policies with respect to product quality, cleanliness, employee attire and operations.
  • Achieving and maintaining high standards of food quality, speed of service and station cleanliness.
  • Complies with existing company policies concerning cleanliness, customer service, product controls, product quality and consistency.
  • Strictly adheres to production and quality control standards.
  • Keeping the Team Leader/Store Manager informed of any abnormal kitchen activity.
  • Reporting any maintenance concerns and equipment breakdowns to Team Leader/Store Manager.
  • Any other related duties.

Remuneration:
Hourly Rate, plus Monthly Service Charge
