Operating Technician
This is a contract of two (2) years.
• Must be knowledgeable of all relevant policies and procedures
• Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment
• Receive, analyze, record and compile operational data, completing and maintaining forms, logs, and reports.
• Inspect records and log book entries, and communicate with other plant personnel, to assess equipment operating status.
• Take readings from charts, meters and gauges at established intervals, and take corrective steps as necessary.
• Start or stop generators, auxiliary pumping equipment, turbines, and other power plant equipment, and connect or disconnect equipment from circuits.
• Identify plant defects, make adjustments or minor repairs; report any need for major repairs.
• To coordinate with client, the load and voltage requirements, in compliance with established contractual agreements.
Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum of 5 o 'levels (Mathematics, English, Physics and Chemistry) and accredited Diploma in PPO, MET, EEET, IEET. Or BSc. Mechanical, Chemical & Process or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of two (2) years in operations in a petrochemical or power plant environment. Preferably through a formal trainee program
