Engineering Planner

Position Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for the planning of all preventative maintenance and maintenance related works, covering all engineering requirements related to the company’s operations. The Engineering Planner will be responsible for planning work schedules around machine availability and will also source and chase parts for engineering activities, whilst working alongside stores management for critical spares.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical, BSc.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Planner in the manufacturing industry
• Strong working knowledge of maintenance operations
• Time management skills and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software

• Written and Oral Communication: Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical persons on paper and verbally.
• Multi-tasking: Performing more than one activity simultaneously.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to put tasks together in an orderly, functional and structured whole.
• Manual Dexterity: Ability to physically lift objects also frequent bending, stretching and twisting.
• Health and Safety: Sign off on the Permit to Work
• Perform other related duties as required.
