key functions and responsibilities

HR and Health and Safety

  • Assist with the dissemination of policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the onboarding activities and the training of new and existing employees.
  • Assist with the coordination of leave and updating the HRMS system.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the organisation’s Health and Safety Policy.

Marketing and Business Development

  • Assist with the planning of marketing and community activities.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of social media content.
  • Assist with the preparation of marketing reports and maintain competitive analysis information.

Customer Service

  • Interact with customers via email, social media, telephone, virtual meeting platforms and face-to-face to provide a meaningful and positive experience.
  • Perform cashier duties.

Qualifications and experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Management Studies, Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a fast-paced organisation focusing
  • on Human Resources Support and Customer Service.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a marketing environment with knowledge of digital and social media marketing concepts.

 

Assets

  • A Certification in Digital Marketing.
  • A Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Certificate in Management and/ or Customer Service Level 2.
  • A Supervisory Management Certification.
  • Experience in the Financial Services Sector.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated good time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

The Employee and Customer Engagement Officer provides administrative support to the Human Resources, Health and Safety, Marketing and Business Development functions of the organisation. This role is critical to the execution of the organisation’s customer-centric strategy.
