Maintenance Technician - Electrician
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical and/or electrical equipment with specific focus in assigned trade; Operate a variety of equipment and machinery including saws, drill presses and various hand and power tools to perform repair and maintenance work. Interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches and work orders to effectively perform maintenance activities. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of electrical systems, including hot water heaters, and boilers, walk-in coolers / freezers, under counter refrigeration, ice machines, and all electrical components related to outboards, engines, and ovens.
Inspects, tests, repairs, and maintains the electrical and mechanical systems in a safe
manner within a food manufacturing facility.
Supports the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility.
Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic mechanical systems including valves,
solenoids, and manual and automatic controls.
Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and maintains electrical equipment of
varying voltages, including but not limited to 0V through 480v.
Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and maintains electrical equipment,
including but not limited to: motors (all types), starters, breakers, transformers, isolation
switches, relays, fuses, resistors, air conditioning, valves, AC Drives, and DC Drives.
Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and maintains mechanical systems such as:
pumps, conveyors, gearbox, compressors, mixers, dividers and wrappers, slicers and
baggers.
