The Caribbean Business Exchange, (CBX) a Division of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) seeks to identify highly motivated professionals to fill the following positions. These positions are contractual for 1 (one) year.

(i)         VIDEO EDITOR

JOB SCOPE

Under the supervision of the Station Manager, the Video Editor is responsible for editing high-quality video recordings as well as monitoring of broadcast and recording equipment.

DUTIES

Reporting to the Station Manager, the successful candidate’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Editing footage in post-production
• Consulting with the Station Manager on timeline and content to be aired.  
• Caring for all equipment in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
•  Ensuring the security and safety of broadcast equipment on assignments
• Assisting with setting up of the Television set.
• Assisting in filming / directing videos on set or on location.
• Performing any other related duties which may be assigned by the Station Manager.
• Editing of raw video which includes ensuring audio, video and titling is done.

.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Completion of relevant Videography training.
• Two (2) years' experience in Electronic News Gathering (ENG) camera operations
