The Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel located in Kingston, Jamaica, is seeking warm, enthusiastic, service oriented individuals with a great attitude to join our team in the following roles:
- Bar Manager
- Food and Beverage Manager
- Servers/ Waiters
- Bartenders
- Housemen
- Housekeepers
Management candidate requirements:
- At least three (3) years experience in similar capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Business Management or a related discipline preferred.
- Relevant Certification
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability to work on shifts including weekends.
- Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizing and time management skills.
Server/Waiter/ Bartender candidate requirements:
- NVQ-J Level 1 or 2 certificate in Food and Beverage or similar certification from a recognized training institution
- Three CXC subjects including English Language
- At least one year experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Housemen/ Housekeeper Requirements:
- One (1) year working experience in a similar capacity
- Skills training certification (Housekeeping)
- Good time management and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate a professional, warm, and welcoming demeanour to all guests and employees
- Strong ability to pay attention to detail
- Good knowledge of housekeeping requirements
