Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Project Manager to join our team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing maintenance projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of facility management and maintenance processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, outlining objectives, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including contractors, and internal teams, to understand project scope, requirements, and expectations.
• Budget Management: Responsible for creating and managing project budgets, including tracking costs, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
• Resource Allocation: Identify and procure necessary resources, such as manpower, tools, equipment, and materials, to ensure effective project execution.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring clear communication, delegation of tasks, and effective coordination to achieve project goals.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that maintenance projects comply with industry standards and management expectations.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions, safety hazards, and budget overruns.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and completion records.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant building codes, regulations, safety protocols, and company policies during project execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Project Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating successful completion of maintenance projects within budget and on schedule.
• Strong knowledge of facility management and maintenance processes, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry developments.
