**Job Description:**

A BVI-based family is currently seeking applications for the position of Professional Caretaker to provide dedicated care to a senior family member with Alzheimer's. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of an individual while living in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Personal Care:Provide hands-on care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. 

2. Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to the medication schedule.

3. Companionship: Offer emotional support, engage in meaningful conversations, and provide companionship to the senior family member.

4. Household Assistance: Assist with light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe and clean environment.

5. Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor the senior's condition, report any changes or concerns to the family, and maintain detailed records.

**Qualifications:**

- Medical Training: relevant medical training, such as certified nursing assistant (CNA), licensed practical nurse (LPN), or similar qualifications.

- Experience: Previous experience in caring for seniors, especially those with Alzheimer's or dementia, is highly desirable.

- Compassion: Show empathy, patience, and a genuine concern for the well-being of the senior family member.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the senior and family members.

- Flexibility: Be adaptable to the changing needs of the senior and the family.

- Live-In Option:The position offers the option to "live-in" with accommodations provided if desired.
