Construction Site Technician

The job role of a quantity surveyor involves the following duties:

• Interacts with on-site clients
• Reads and interprets construction prints, technical (i.e., mechanical, electrical, digital) drawings, maps, blueprints, diagrams
• Work under Construction Manager/Supervisor to complete Training Guidelines Checklist
• Support inspectors
• Knowledge in Auto-Cad
• Proficient on a computer including the Microsoft Office suite
• Assist in Oversees and ensures the execution of overhead/underground construction duties
• Assist in Maintains accurate record keeping with regards to project start, milestone dates, production logs, material and labor needs
• Conduct self in a Safe manner
• Maintains site Safety protocols
• Oversees the tools and equipment used by the construction crew through regular inspection
• Basis knowledge of estimating/material take off
• . Experience in AutoCAD

• • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Outreach Training
• • Five years of construction experience
