POSITION SUMMARY

As the Distribution Specialist, you will be responsible for the development of the business of Distributors by ensuring that the channel plans are executed, supervise and coach the distributor’s sales force, accounts receivable, customer’s sell-out performance and sales concentration of the channel and stock rotation.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Supervision of the operations (both BackOffice & Commercial) of our Distributor(s) assigned, to ensure that the Nestlé Service is provided to our BOP Customers & Consumers by guaranteeing frequent, consistent, and reliable service as well as the availability of quality and affordable products.
  • Effective Execution of Trade Activities (Brand & Channel Plans).                                              
  • Development and Implementation Distributor Plans to achieve objectives: Targets:  NNS, OG, RIG, OP1
  • Qualitative KPI’s (Visibility Drive, Window Program, Chiller Management)
  • Trade visits to ensure execution of channel plans, Supervising and coaching of Distributor’s Sales Representatives                                   
  • POP Placement and Maintenance                                            
  • Preparing orders and coordinate delivery cycles of the distributors with CSR and warehouse. Ensure back orders are filled and preparation of bad goods.                                   
  • Proper Product Storage & Rotation: check for Expired & Damaged Goods                               
  • Review and communicating performance of Distributors, accounts receivables, tracking TTS and ensuring a return of investment                                        
  • Visit Distributor’s Warehouse                                      
  • Ability to lead a third-party sales force, coaching and aligning them to the business vision
  • Trade visits to ensure execution of channel plans, Supervising and coaching of Distributor’s Sales Representative.                                   

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • First Degree in Business Management or related Social Science.
  • Minimum 3 years’ sales experience.
  • Experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment, preferably with Beverages and On the Go Consumption Products.
  • Ability to use networks to influence business activity.               
  • Financial understanding.                      
  • Strong relationship capabilities with customers.                       
  • Strong selling skills.
