The Enterprise Risk Analyst will support the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management with identifying, assessing, measuring, monitoring and reporting on the Group’s risk issues. They are expected to advise and guide with respect to the appropriateness of strategies for enabling risk mitigation.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement risk measurement metrics which cover insurance and non-insurance activities including market, credit, liquidity and operational risks.
Liaise with the Operations, as necessary, and provide support from a risk management standpoint in accordance with the ‘3 lines of defense’ model.
Assist the Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management with the preparation of risk reports for internal and external meetings, including Board reporting purposes.
Assist in the identification and assessment of risks that may interfere with Guardian Group’s objectives and operations.
Maintain global inventory of risks, mitigating action plans and controls across the organization to proactively identify adverse trends.
Develop an understanding of the workings of our products across the Group to advise representatives of other departments on risk-related issues related to our products.
To perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the Chief Risk Officer or Senior Manager – Enterprise Risk management.
EDUCATION:
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a minimum of two (2) years in the Investment Management or Insurance Industry.
Appreciation of basic principles in finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, information technology, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools and familiarity with risk management software etc.
