A storeroom clerk ensures a storeroom is clean and organized. They solve customer issues, maintain stock, prevent damages, and maintain documents. They conduct inventory and keep records of incoming and outgoing stocks

Some duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, storing, and issuing of inventory items to ensure new items are added to the database and old items are disposed of
  • Making sure that all products meet company standards for quality and safety, and maintaining records of these inspections
  • Maintaining inventory records by entering new items into a database and removing obsolete items from inventory
  • Performing physical inventory counts to ensure that the storeroom is stocked with enough items to meet current demand
  • Responsible for ordering new items as needed from suppliers and vendors to replenish stock
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports regarding inventory levels and other data as requested by management
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a storeroom, warehouse, or similar environment.
  • Experience with inventory management software programs.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Male Preferred
