Human Resources Assistant

The Employee Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

 

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department agendas and processes on a daily basis. The basic job duties include but not limited to:

  • Be the first point of contact for all resourcing queries.
  • Scheduling job interviews and assisting in recruitment process.
  • Ensuring background and reference checks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Preparing new employee files.
  • Assisting with new-hire on-boarding processes.
  • Assisting with off-boarding processes.
  • Work closely with the HR Manager for the introduction and implementation of corporate and local initiatives.
  • Ensuring that the Accounting department receives all relevant documents and data relating to payroll in a timely manner.
  • Managing absences, identify actions to be taken and ensuring policies are followed.
  • Ensure employee files are kept up-to-date
  • Assist with training and maintaining proper training records. 
  • Assist with planning employee social and recognition programs.
  • Assist with addressing employee’s queries and concerns.
  • Provide support at all local locations.

Qualification & Experiences

  • At least 2 years experience working in Human Resource Department  
  • Excellent administrative/ organizing skills.
  • knowledge of employment laws and practices

Supporting Role

  • Perform other duties as requested from management.
