EXECUTIVE MANAGER - MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (MIS)

Position Description:

The National Commercial Bank of Anguilla Ltd (NCBA), the leading financial institution in Anguilla, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Executive Manager - MIS.  The incumbent in this position will report to the CEO.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the MIS department and communicating the technology vision of the Executive team to staff. The Executive Manager, MIS will be responsible for managing IT projects, resources, teams and budgeting associated IT costs. The position holder will be required to set IT risk and control standards. The Executive Manager, MIS also drives digital transformation and innovation, and leads project management and change management.

e)     Network Analysis & Administration - Basic

g)     Data Management & Analytics - Intermediate

h)     ICT Risk Assessment & Management - Advanced

i)       ICT Technical Leadership - Advanced

j)       Information & Data Security - Intermediate

k)     ICT Strategic Sourcing - Advanced

l)       Information Systems & Technology Auditing - Advanced

m)  People Management - Advanced

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and background:

a)     At least 12 years in the management of IT department/(s) in banking industry, at least 5 of which should be at a senior executive level.

b)     BSc Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration

c)      Postgraduate degree Computer Science or Business Administration

d)     Certifications in PMP; ITIL and Scrum is preferred.

e)     Excellent organisational skills, meticulous and thorough.

f)       Effective leadership and interpersonal skills

g)     Strong written and oral communications skills.

h)     Flexible and innovative team player with sound integrity, initiative, and a global mindset.
