POSITION SUMMARY

As our Sales Control Specialist (Jamaica -Based), you will be responsible for providing financial / economic analysis to assure / facilitate the optimal use of commercial resources, and ensure sales operations adhere to financial, legal requirements and Nestlé Accounting practices.

 A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Coordinate and monitor forecast of GPS, NPS, NNS, TTS to ensure alignment with Monthly business planning and the Dynamic Forecast
  • Monitor and Maintain Pricing Conditions in SAP: List Prices, VAT/GCT, GPRs, BG Allowance, Distributor Allowance, Cash Discounts, Price Off Promotions
  • Management of Trade Incentives according to trade terms including rebates and promotions and ensure timely accruals and reconciliations of total trade spend and capture of goods receipt.
  • Provide analysis for Sales Teams across sales controlling area, preparation, analysis and communication of specific sales and TTS reporting and link actuals with DF and risk/opportunities identified.
  • Optimize trade spend investments by identifying the most efficient & effective way to perform pre & post evaluation (financial & commercial)
  • Ensure the analysis is completed, learning log is maintained with key learnings implemented and procedures are in place to determine if Nestlé is getting performance in line with customer agreements.
  • Leverage Customer Contribution Statements as a Management Tool and support cash generation through ownership of Customer Accounts, improvement in Receivables and through cross functional collaboration to manage stocks more efficiently.
  • Participate in the customer and channel strategy development process and ensure the commercial plan is executed in line with the strategy
  • Custodian of internal controls and assurance that trade spend practices comply with internal and external guidelines. Maintain proper accrual creation and correct cost allocation.
  • Ensure full alignment of the sales team towards financial processes (period-end closing, forecasting, annual resource allocation) to ensure transparent and accurate monitoring of TTS
  • Improve Customer Sales Team business acumen through training and ongoing Finance and Sales Analysis
  • Support with internal and external audit requests as required.                        
  • Work independently with various data sources to conduct analyses and produce clear interpretation of data across channels/customers/ categories.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by Management and any other administrative and organizational services needed by management.         

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • First Degree in Business Management or Equivalent qualifications,
  • At least 3 years’ prior experience in sales support role or office administration
  • Microsoft Office Certificated with advance in Excel.
  • Data literate, and able to manipulate data
  • Has a desire to develop their capability in data management and analytics
  • Demonstrated success in previous roles
  • Strong attention to detail, action oriented, great customer service, team player, self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical skills/thinking
