Product Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensure profitability and development of the brand.

• Ensure the achievement of agreed upon sales and gross profit targets.
• Order inventory and liaise with warehouse personnel to control/manage the rotation of inventories.
• Control advertising and promotion expenses of brands.
• Monitor the performance of the items and take the necessary action to address negative variance.
• Liaise with customers to monitor performance and develop and implement plans to correct shortfalls.
• Provide sales representatives with information, guidance and assistance to ensure individual performance and that of the brand.
• Create quality customer/principal relationship.
• Assist in other areas of work based on the needs of the department and any other area as necessary in support of Company activities.
• All responsibilities and accountabilities must be executed in accordance with the company’s Customer Service Management System (CSMS), Quality Health and Safety Environment (QHSE) and Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) policies and practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• First Degree in Business Management/Marketing
• Or 2-3 years working experience in a Sales/Marketing Environment.
• Valid driver’s permit

Computer Skills

• Computer literacy (Word & Excel)
