The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain process to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

This role involves strategic planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to meet business objectives.

Main Functions/Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships to ensure the availability of high-quality materials and goods at competitive prices.
• Monitor inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
• Coordinate transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities to optimize the flow of goods and reduce lead times.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, evaluate their performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain process and implement cost reduction strategies.
• Ensure that products meet quality standards and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to the supply chain, including customs and import/export regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Generate and analyze supply chain performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 or more years' experience in supply chain management or related role
• Minimum 3 years leadership and team management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
• Master's Degree is preferred
• CIPS Advanced Diploma would be an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, best practices and industry trends
