Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our spas and manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our facilities, upholding our commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Spa Operations Management:

• Supervise and manage spa concierges and staff across locations in Portmore, May Pen, and Kingston.
• Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures in spa operations.
• Monitor and optimize spa appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Oversee inventory management of spa products and supplies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote spa services and drive business growth.

Manufacturing Plant Oversight:

• Manage and lead the manufacturing team to produce high-quality skincare products.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality control standards.
• Monitor production processes, implement improvements, and optimize resource allocation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and procurement to maintain a steady supply of raw materials.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

• Develop and manage budgets for spa and manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and control expenses to maximize profitability.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Quality Assurance:

• Maintain and enhance quality standards for spa services and skincare products.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular quality audits and address issues promptly.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in spa and manufacturing operations.
• Maintain licenses, permits, and certifications.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the spa or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of spa and skincare industry trends.
• Budgeting and financial management proficiency. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

Reliable Motor Vehicle Ownership: The Operations Manager must own or have access to a reliable motor vehicle for the purpose of commuting to different locations, as well for any business-related travel requirements. This requirement is essential to ensure the Operations manager’s ability to effectively oversee operations across multiple locations and respond promptly to any operational or staffing needs at various sites within Kingston, Portmore, and May Pen.
