Senior Accounting Officer:
- Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager
- Reviews and signs off on Accounting Schedules, Journal Entries & Reconciliations
- Prepares Reports and Schedules for Management
- Prepares variance analysis reports
- Checking and verification of Payrolls
- Assists with preparation of Cash Budgets
- Assists with the preparation of Financial Accounts
- Liasion with Banks, Creditors, Suppliers Auditors
- Ensures the timeliness of staff schedules to meet required deadlines
- Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff.
- Prepares evaluation reports on staff supervised.

Requirements Qualifications & Core Competencies
- BSc. In Accounting or / ACCA Level 2 or Equivalent Certifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the area of accounts.
- Working knowledge of relevant computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics and other accounting tools would be an advantage.
- A high degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Good interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and pays keen attention to accuracy
- Must be able to function independently and handle a variety of responsibilities under pressure
