We are interested in recruiting  a manager for our Maintenance department. We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Manager to oversee our Laundromat operations and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of the laundromat facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Check electrical and hydraulic systems of washing machines and broiler systems
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.)
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Must Haves Knowledge

• Must know how to trouble shoot and repair commercial Boilers and water heating systems.
• Must be able to trouble shoot and repair commercial washers and dryers
• Must be familiar with water systems (filtration systems , submersible pumps etc.)
• Must be able to read / translate electrical and electronic schematic designs
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to manage and work well with co- workers.
• Must be able to read equipment manuals to order parts.
• Must be able to work with consultants and subcontractors
• Must know how to trouble shoot and repair commercial Boilers and water heating systems and be proficient with LPG gas systems for Boilers & hot water heaters.
• Must be able to work with and understand water softener systems and read TDS Meters
• Must be able to trouble shoot and repair commercial washers and LPG gas dryers
• Must be familiar with water systems (filtration systems , submersible pumps etc.)
• Must be able to read / translate electrical and electronic schematic designs
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to manage and work well with co- workers.
• Must be able to read equipment manuals to order parts.
• Must be able to work with consultants and subcontractors
• Must be familiar with deep wells and catchment pits
• Must understand emergency generator systems
• Must be familiar with single phase & three phase power 120v / 208v / 240v.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree from a vocational school in Electrical, Plumbing or related area of study.
• Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus
• At least 4 years’ experience as a Maintenance  professional
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
