To manage and support all aspects of the human resource and administration function; including but not limited to: employee benefits, leave administration, training and development, recruitment and selection, onboarding and other related initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to employees/Supervisors/Manager in interpreting employee handbook, and company Policies and Procedures
  • Review company policies and procedures and make updates and recommendations as necessary
  • Manage and oversee Performance Management system
  • Lead recruitment efforts by administering the Recruitment and Selection process for both permanent and temporary employees; inclusive of posting job vacancies, screening and shortlisting of applicants, conducting interviews etc.
  • Ensure timely processing of Offer Letter, Employment Contracts, Transfers, Promotions, Extensions and other change of personnel status as necessary
  • Prepare and issue swipe cards for new employees
  • Manage Training needs and work with manager to ensure transference of skills and knowledge gained from training
  • Work alongside the Chief Operating Officer in the handling of Industrial Relations issues
  • Act as liaison with external agencies to provide appropriate advice in relation to Employee and Industrial Relations issues
  • Develop and Administer Employee Engagement Initiatives
  • Manage and new employee induction/orientation process
  • Manage ‘On-the-Job’ training program
  • Prepare NIS & BIR correspondence relevant to; applications for new numbers, Staff Pension Plan & Maternity and Sickness Benefit
  • Administer Company’s Group Health and Pension plans and coordinate employee claims and benefits
  • Develop and manage Employee Wellness Programme
  • Manage Employee Relations by partnering with managers to ensure compliance with Company Policy and Labour Laws
  • Manage Time and Attendance: Maintain and update employee leave database (Casual, Sick and other Leaves) as well as provide advice and follow-up on outstanding documentation as necessary
  • Manage employee separation process e.g. separation documents/benefits, exit interview, return of company equipment/ID etc.
  • Manage and efficiently maintain employee records
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by Executives/COO

  • Highly flexible with the ability to handle diverse projects
  • Familiarity with HR Software applications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field of study
  • At least five (5) years’ relevant experience in Human Resource
  • At least 2 years Supervisory Experience
  • Industrial Relations certification will be an asset

Special Requirements

  • Willing to work overtime and on weekends if required
