Assistant Cost Controller

Hospitality company seeking to identify suitably qualified persons for the position of Assistant Cost Controller.

Are you a proficient Assistant Financial Controller? We want you to join our team.

The selected candidate must possess a strong background in accounting, along with a keen eye for details, and a strong analytical mindset. Experience in the hospitality industry would be highly advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out Inventories: Together with the Heads of Each Department, Monthly and Random.
• Pre-designed formats must be available for the achievement of said inventories.
• Review of Invoices in SAP: Control of Daily Merchandise Entry (Correct Warehouse Charges, Correct Amounts and Quantities, Follow-up of Pending Invoices for various reasons, Pre-sales Invoices, Revision of Seals and Receiver Signatures).
• Review of the Merchandise Reception Process: Supervision and Support if necessary in the Merchandise Reception (at the beginning of each month with the Tickets), Correct Product Weights as well as their Quality (entry labels, considerable expiration dates to avoid losses).
• Review of the Control of Incidents in Prices: Issuance of Credit Notes if a Product with a price is applied against a Purchase Order, Otherwise Verify with the Dept. Shopping if applicable.
• Review of the Merchandise Assortment Process: Verify that the Requisitions that the Warehouse supplies are correct to where the Departments load them to avoid the diversion of the Cost of Food & Beverages, and Industrial Expenses. 
• Review of Sales Orders: Check that what they ask for is all supported with the Miscellaneous Sales. Otherwise they are not stocked (Wines for Sale, Lobsters, and Fine Cuts).
