JN General Insurance Company Limited is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the position of Underwriting Clerk. The Underwriting Clerk is responsible for underwriting proposals for new business, renewal and midterm policy adjustments and for processing the appropriate documentation; also required to provide quotations, prepare No Claim Discount Letters and Claims Experience Letters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Accurately underwrite and post New Business, Renewals and Mid-term Adjustments to include cancellation for outstanding premium upon instruction from (Credit Department and Finance Houses).
-Prepare and print NCD Letters. Perform test on computer systems (PURE, ECM, Reports, etc). Adhering to KPI for Turnaround Times and Accuracy.
-Provide relief to other Departments and Branches.
-Provide quotations to customers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
-First Undergraduate Degree.
-Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance, Motor and Property Insurance Certificate Courses.
- Two (2) years’ experience in the General Insurance Industry.
- Financial Services Commission License required.
