Disbursement Officer - Mortgage Loans

JN Bank Limited is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the position of Mortgage Loan Disbursement Officer. Mortgage Loan Disbursement Officer is responsible for the disbursement of mortgage loans in accordance with the conditions of approval.

JN Bank Limited is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the position of Mortgage Loan Disbursement Officer. Mortgage Loan Disbursement Officer is responsible for the disbursement of mortgage loans in accordance with the conditions of approval.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Control    

-Prepare supporting documents to facilitate the disbursement process.  

-Obtain instructions to disburse.

-Ensure that all conditions of approval are satisfied prior to disbursement.

-Ensure that all mortgage documents have been executed and are in order.  

-Ensure that savings accounts – when required - related to the transaction are active. 

-Accurately prepare disbursement documents to support disbursement of loan in keeping with approved loan terms.  

-Submit loan documents for sign-off in keeping with established SLAs and protocol. 

-Advise Supervisor of any non-conformance issues.

Communication Prior to Disbursement   

-Contact members and advise of disbursement details before loan proceeds are wired or lodged. 

-Contact made with Loan Officers/Brokers to advise of the disbursement of the loan proceeds.   

-Upload all (including emails) communication in respect to the disbursement process to electronic and physical files – whenever physical files are available.     

Posting to Banking System

-Accurately post retail loans for loans paid within the day by the end of day.

-All required fields to be updated on Phoenix.

-Auto Transfer where required to be established correctly.

-Loans to be tied to special Rims where required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

-Degree in Business Administration, Banking or related field. 

-Two (2) years working experience. 

-Knowledge of JN Bank’s systems would be an asset.
