Inchcape Caribbean a subsidiary of the Inchcape Group the world’s leading independent automotive distribution partner is seeking to recruit a Demand/Supply Chain Planner. The Demand/Supply Chain Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops demand/supply operational forecasts for the company
  • Reviews historical sales trends, researches demand drivers, prepares forecast data, develops statistical forecast models and evaluates forecast results
  • Utilises a collaborative approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
  • Provides input to the supply plan and develops inventory strategies on existing items, new products and product phase-outs
  • Creates and maintains relevant reports, statistical forecasts and provides input to demand/supply planning (latest estimates/annual budgeting process)
  • Coordinates cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions
  • Maintains demand/supply planning systems and software

  REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc or BA degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • At least three (3) years’ supply chain management experience
  • Proficiency in S&OP concepts and analytical software
  • Advanced analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel
  • High level of enthusiasm, and ethical standards
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, sense of empathy, and passion for your work are essential in this role

Successful candidates must have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a methodical work ethic. Must be organized, accurate and detail-oriented with good follow through skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
