Local IT Manager

(Kingston, Jamaica)

 The incumbent will:

• Plan and coordinate the processes related to information technology services according to the standards and policies defined by the company
• Manage the technology infrastructure to keep all company technology applications and systems available for the business to operate
• Propose, implement, monitor efficiencies in costing and business processes related to IT Purchases and/or hire infrastructure, software and technology services
• Monitor hardware and software maintenance contracts to ensure that the commitments outlined in them are met
• Coordinate with Regional and Corporate IT for the execution and local support on Corporate Initiatives and projects to improve customer experience, support digital transformation and day to day operations
• Plan, coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits related to IT systems, data security, and compliance to ensure security of data network and system access
• Coach and develop team members to ensure achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets and ensure development of a mentality of service to the business

Academic Qualifications and Key Competencies Include:

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related, preferably at the Master’s level
• Certification in Operating systems, servers, networking/telecom, Project management, software engineering/development, MS-Office, Jira, Slack
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in retail, banking, telecom or fintech industries
