Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance task in the following fields: carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, painting and plumbing. He/ she is also responsible for conducting general equipment repair for items not under service contract or warranty.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Review and complete maintenance job orders as directed by Facilities Manager and/ or supervisor.
• Complete daily facilities checklist. 
• Repair, maintain and install various machines and equipment. 
• Serve as support to contractors engaged in facilities and construction issues onsite. 
• Conduct preventative maintenance as set out by the Facilities Manager under the Preventative Maintenance Program. 
• Liaise with Managers, Supervisors and Team Leads to resolve maintenance issues. 
• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems as directed under the Facilities Management Program.
