The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality of computer systems and assisting end users.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications.
  • Monitoring, escalating and resolving help desk requests.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on user support devices.
  • Procurement and deployment of business user assets while maintaining inventory of spares.
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports and updating the ICT knowledge base.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications with guidance from the Group Applications team.

Position Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position/environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong self-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
