FULL TIME TEACHING STAFF
ACCOUNTING TEACHER: BATCE SIXTH FORM
ROLE AND CORE FUNCTION
The incumbent is required to teach Accounting to Form 6 students in accordance with the approved curriculum. Duties include monitoring the progress of students, effective classroom supervision and guidance to ensure the all-round development of students.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree in the Accounting from an accredited University or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Levels 1, 2 & 3
A Diploma in Education will be an asset.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with the Accounting Syllabus.
A minimum of 3 years' teaching experience at the respective form level is essential.
Sound knowledge of the theory and application of the subject area.
Sound knowledge of evaluation and measurement techniques.
Sound knowledge of modern methods, principles and techniques of teaching.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Registered to teach by the Ministry of Education
Assessed as an Accounting TIII by The Ministry of Education
