Surveyor

Grupotec is looking for a Surveyor whose main mission will be to monitor the execution of the assigned project as well as ensuring compliance with the schedule, while applying company’s quality standards on site

Functions and Responsibilities

• Performing topographic surveys
• Reviewing and advising on site layouts and engineering project layouts
• Providing calculations and graphical representations on topographic measurements
• Finding appropriate operation points for surveying
• Drafting to prepare topographic plans
• Managing and taking charge or his/her topographic measuring equipment
• Ensuring the progress of the wok according to the project and reporting and change to the Project Engineer
• Controlling and monitoring the finishings and conducting inspections to verify the fulfilment of procedures and technical specifications

Required Profile

Education

• Minimum degree in Technical Engineering, Surveying and Mapping Sciences and/or Land and Geomatics Surveying
• Surveying equipment: knowing how to use level, total station, and GPS (fixed and mobile)
• Training in preventing Occupational risks: at least the 60 hours basic training (the certification is required)
• BIM/REVIT
• Design of photovoltaic plants
• Training in Hydrology
• Training in Project Management and in Renewable Energies
• Knowledge of Computer Skills such as Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD, MDT, Protopo – advanced level

Experience

A minimum of five years’ experience as a land surveyor

Previous experience as a land surveyor working on a photovoltaic plant site

Language

English: Intermediate level (B1-B2)

Spanish: Intermediate level (B1-B2)
