Massy Wood is currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator with experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing the appropriate Logistics support for materials movement, personnel movement, equipment services, coordinating and planning services, in support of project activities during the planning and execution phases, taking account of company procedures and of contract objectives to comply with agreed project plans and schedules.
- Ensures that all equipment (client, rental/contractor and or Massy Wood owned) to be used on the facilities so required are certified to operate. (Explosion proof electrical systems, spark arrester exhaust systems, belt and fan guards in place, etc.)
- Utilize company systems and applications coordinating the required logistics and expediting materials and equipment.
- Liaise with relevant Massy Wood Construction & subcontractor personnel to plan crews as per skill set required.
- Responsible for managing and tracking (electronically and manually through signed Distribution Forms) the issuing of PPE and hand tools for new hires and existing employees in accordance with Company and Client requirements.
- Required to complete the necessary documentation and packages for submission of personnel and equipment bpTT security pass applications and follow up to ensure employees and equipment are on system timely.
- Liaise with bpTT inspection company MATLUS and Massy Wood HSE dept on equipment premobilization, Update and issue tracker.
- Develop and maintain an accurate tracking system of personnel and equipment pass applications, pass status and pass expirations with COC status.
- Ensures the efficient utilization of CCUs & Baskets (effecting expeditious offloads and the return of these units whilst keeping updated records of these units’ movements (CCU Management Tracker).
- Ensure all employees are aware of their check in time for mobilization days.
- Liaise with relevant Company personnel and Client onshore and offshore asset-based operations and project.
- Coordinate employee movement according to project needs.
- Liaise with the People & Organisation Team to advise on the availability of employees for mandatory medicals and training.
- Update personnel certificate records electronically at a shared location so that the documents are up-to-date and accurate when requested by Company or Client personnel.
- Provide Employee Certification Matrix for all personnel upon request.
- Liaise with the relevant Company and Client representatives to confirm check in and check out times for mobilization and demobilization of materials to ship via heliport, flight times/dates respectively and arrange the necessary transportation.
- Maintain all records and documentation, both electronic and manual to auditable standards.
- Coordinate the delivery/return of material and equipment between warehouse, client/client representatives, vendors, and offshore platforms.
- Monitor all costs associated with logistics activities and provide initiatives for cost control/reduction.
- Ensure all HSSE standards for logistics activities are maintained.
